Gerri Volchko Paulisick is a founding partner of Boyer Paulisick & Eberle.  Ms. Paulisick was born on June 12, 1969 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.  She graduated as valedictorian from Cornell High School in 1987 and from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania in 1991, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  She then attended Duquesne University where she was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1994.  While at Duquesne University School of Law, Ms. Paulisick served as Editor in Chief of the Business Law Journal, and as a Research Editor for the Duquesne University Law Review. 

Ms. Paulisick began her legal career in Butler County, Pennsylvania, as the law clerk for the Honorable Judge Thomas J. Doerr, President Judge of Butler County.  In 1995, she joined the law firm of Murin, Taylor, Flach & Horan, and was named a partner in 1999.  In 2001, she formed the firm of Boyer & Paulisick with Cathy S. Boyer, Esquire.


Ms. Paulisick specializes in matrimonial and family law litigation and mediation.  She has extensive experience with complex divorce, support and custody cases, as well as elder law issues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 




She has also served as a special master and guardian ad litem by court appointment.  Ms. Paulisick has served
as the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Client and Community Relations Committee, and is a member of
the Association’s Family Law Section.  She is a member of the Butler County Family Court Rules Committee.  Ms.
Paulisick also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Visiting Nurses Association and has served 
as Vice Chair of the Foundation Board of that organization and Chair of the Hospice Board of Directors.  She 
has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of CANDLE, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to 
drug and abuse education and prevention, the Butler City Zoning Hearing Board, and the Multi-Municipal 
Planning Committee for the City of Butler.  

 

Ms. Paulisick resides with her husband and two children in Butler, Pennsylvania.
